History
Founded in 1977, Electroloy started as a metal refiner based in Singapore. It has since grown its solder operations into South-east Asia and China, earning recognition in the electronic industry.
Today, with more than 30 years of experience, we offer a full line of solder solutions from cored solder wires, plating anodes, solder bars, soldering fluxes, solder paste and preforms to our customers.

- Hongkong Metal Pte Ltd was incorporated in Singapore

1990 |
- Electroloy (Malaysia) was set up in Malaysia as a sales office
|

1992 |
- Hongkong Metal Pte Ltd was renamed Electroloy Metal Pte Ltd
|
|
1998 |
- Electroloy (Malaysia) set up its manufacturing facility
|
|
2000 |
- Electroloy (Shenzhen) was set up in China, with both manufacturing facility and office
|

2001 |
- Electroloy (Suzhou) was set up in China, with both manufacturing facility and office
- Electroloy (Shenzhen) achieved ISO 9001 certification

2002 |
- Electroloy (Malaysia) achieved ISO 9001 certification

2003 |
- Obtain licence for Pb-Free Sn-Ag-Cu Ternary Eutectic Solder US Patent 5,527,628
- Electroloy (Suzhou) achieved ISO 9001 certification

2005 |
- Electroloy (Malaysia) achieved ISO 14001 certification

2006 |
- Research & Development facility was set up with the assistance from A*star & SIMTECH
- Obtained licence for Lead free solder Tin, Copper and Nickel for sales in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and China.
- Electroloy (Shenzhen) achieved ISO 14001 certification

- Obtained licence for Lead free solder Sn100C for sales in China
- Electroloy (Shenzhen) achieved QC 80000 certification
- Electroloy (Suzhou achieved ISO 14001 certification)

- Research & Development facility moved to a new location to enhance our R & D activites.
